Job Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and customers through active cold calling and outdoor sales activities
- Conduct regular client visits, sales meetings, and field prospecting to expand the customer base
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of revenue, shipment volumes, and gross profit
- Execute effective business development strategies and initiatives
- Engage with local and regional vendors (Air, Ocean, and other logistics partners) to secure competitive market rates for customer proposals
- Manage and analyze assigned customer accounts, identify improvement opportunities, and implement necessary actions
- Prepare and participate in tenders, RFQs, and bidding processes as required
- Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships across departments including Technology, Product, Customer Service, and Operations
- Propose and contribute to process improvements and support implementation initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by immediate and dotted-line supervisors
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding, shipping, air cargo, or logistics
