Sales Executive (Food / Provision Trading Industry)
Job Summary
The Sales cum Admin Executive is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the provision trading business, including sales coordination, order processing, invoicing, stock monitoring, and administrative duties. The role requires close coordination with the warehouse team, delivery personnel, and management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
- Source and develop new sales opportunities for provision trading products.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
- Follow up on orders and coordinate delivery schedules with customers.
Order Processing & Invoicing
- Process customer orders and prepare sales orders.
- Issue invoices through the accounting system.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
Administration & Bookkeeping
- Perform basic bookkeeping and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and related documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, purchase orders, and business records.
Stock & Operations Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of goods when necessary.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain updated inventory records.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and delivery drivers to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with warehouse staff, delivery personnel, and management regarding orders and stock availability.
- Ensure smooth coordination and workflow between departments.
Job Requirements
- Able to speak and write in English and Chinese to communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of sales administration and bookkeeping.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, organised, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and accounting/invoicing systems).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Working hours may be flexible depending on operational needs, including occasional outdoor visits to develop new sales opportunities, subject to arrangement with management.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Monthly Salary: SGD 2,800 - SGD 3,200
Additional benefits may include:
- Sales Commission (to be discussed)
- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) - subject to company performance
Final remuneration package will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
