We are seeking a dynamic & experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in recreational diving to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of diving equipment & techniques, as well as a proven track record in sales.
A) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, & manage new business opportunities within the diving, offshore, and marine sectors.
- Maintain & grow relationships with existing clients, including shipowners, offshore operators, & marine contractors.
- Prepare & present quotations, proposals, & commercial tenders.
- Work closely with operations & technical teams to ensure accurate costing & scope alignment.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, & industry events as required.
Diving & Operational Support
- Participate in diving operations when required to support inspections, surveys, or project execution.
- Conduct site assessments & provide technical input for project planning & proposals.
- Act as a technical point of contact between clients & internal teams during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with diving safety standards, procedures, & operational guidelines.
B) QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial diving, offshore, or marine operations.
- Sales or client-facing experience in diving/marine/offshore industry in highly preferred.
- Valid diving certificate (e.g. ADAS / IMCA / equivalent) - preferred / required.
- Strong understanding of marine or offshore operational environments.
- Good communication, negotiation, & interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and participate in offshore or site-based activities.
- CSCUBE / SSDE certifies (optional)
C) KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong business development & sales acumen within the marine, offshore, or diving industry.
- Ability to identify client needs and translate technical requirements into commercial proposals.
- Strong understanding of complex diving systems, including LARS. DDC, chambers, SRP, HP, BA compressors, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational & time management skills.
- Knowledge of diving safety standards, operational procedures, and risk management practices.
- Ability to translate technical & operational requirements into commercial solutions.
D) GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, offshore teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Good negotiation & persuasion skills to build trust & long-term client relationships.
- Result-oriented, with the ability to work towards sales target & KPIs.
