We are seeking a highly driven Sales Executive with a strong hunter mindset and an established network within the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and the ability to generate a significant portion of revenue independently.
This role focuses on expanding the company's presence in Air and Ocean freight services within the local market, combining proactive business development, client relationship management, and coordination with internal operations teams.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through sales calls, networking, and client visits
Proactively develop new business opportunities within the Air and Ocean freight sectors
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through consistent pipeline development
Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
Manage and grow existing accounts to maximise revenue opportunities
Provide professional consultation on logistics and freight solutions tailored to client needs
Handle shipment enquiries and prepare competitive freight quotations
Source and negotiate rates from overseas offices, agents, and approved local vendors
Participate in RFQs, tenders, and pricing exercises when required
Maintain accurate sales activity updates and reports within the CRM system
Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and internal teams on commercial initiatives
Work effectively both independently and within a diverse, multicultural team environment
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related discipline preferred
2 years of proven sales hunting experience in the Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry
Strong experience in Seafreight sales, with good understanding of freight operations
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently meet sales targets
Established client network within the freight forwarding industry is highly advantageous
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with strong business development skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
