APJ is one of the largest and most diverse region in Cohesity's International Geography, covering Asean, Greater China, Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Cohesity's Technical Sales (TS) team is responsible for the pre-sales technical engagement with Cohesity's customers and partners from initial discovery activities, through the full sales lifecycle, to deal closure. The Sales Engineering Leader in APJ is responsible for leading our teams of Technical Sales professionals across the Area, aligned to enterprise and commercial accounts and to our channel partners.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Leading the Technical Sales teams in APJ.
- Working with the Area Vice President of Sales and their leadership team to define and execute on the technical go-to-market plan for the Area.
- Accountability for the business performance of Cohesity's solution offerings portfolio in APJ
- Ensuring the effective positioning of Cohesity's solution offerings to our customers in APJ.
- Leading the technical engagement with Cohesity's channel partners in APJ.
- Working as part of the International Technical Sales Leadership team to define and execute the technology engagement lifecycle for the Geography.
- Leveraging Cohesity's global technical community including Technical Sales, Engineering and Product Management to support customer and partner engagement in APJ.
- Acting as a technical spokesperson for Cohesity in APJ, with direct, senior-level engagements with customers, partners, analysts and the press.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams with at least 8 years experience in a technical leadership role
- Technical expertise in IT infrastructure and/or cyber-security
- Proven track record of leading sales / technical sales success
- Proven ability to influence key senior internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Proven ability to present technical messaging to large and/or critical audiences
- Degree educated with a preference for BSc/MSc in Computer Science or similar subject
- Presales leadership experience in an IT vendor similar to Cohesity (i.e. subscription-based software / SaaS)
- Knowledge of Cohesity's product portfolio and/or those of its competitors
- A strong customer and partner network in the APJ region with a focus on the customer CTO/CISO community
- Press and analyst engagement experience
- Strong personal social media or industry brand
- Project management experience
