We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales Engineer to join our Test & Measurement team. In this role, you will work closely with customers and leading global technology partners to deliver reliable solutions in the areas of Condition Monitoring, Noise & Vibration Analysis, and Industrial Reliability. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, providing technical consultation, and driving solution-based sales across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and application in the areas of condition monitoring, noise & vibration related industrial solutions, main market focus would be in Singapore and selected regional markets
- Manage existing and develop new customers, understand customer's business status, and look for business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention across industries such as electronic, semiconductor, transport, energy, data centre etc
- Understand customer challenges and develop tailored solutions to address their problems
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions, and follow up on sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Plan and conduct customers visits, maintain customer contact database, and provide regular updates on sales activities, opportunities and project status weekly or as required
- Support marketing initiatives, including seminars, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events if required
- Maintain up-to-date technical and application knowledge of assigned products and solutions
- Deliver product presentations, hands-on demonstrations of Test and Measurement solutions, applications, and technologies to support business development and sales growth
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline - preferably Electrical Engineering
- Candidates with minimum 5 years of sales experience in electrical engineering or related projects would be an advantage
- Strong command of both written and spoken English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel overseas as required to support customer engagement, projects and business development activities
