Job Description

  • Expand Spirax Sarco business by proactively searching for new customers while maintaining strong services to existing distributors
  • Undertake a business plan for assigned territories in accordance with set and agreed KPIs and company standards
  • Evaluate customer requirements to map out solutions and recommend and propose steam system services, improvements and upgrades
  • Recognize and convey potential areas of opportunity to the marketing and business development team
  • Negotiation, closing of sales, and conduct product presentations
  • Preparation of tender bids for Project/MRO quotes with technical and commercial negotiations.
  • Undertake a business plan for assigned territories in accordance with set and agreed KPIs and company standards
  • Maintain customer records and proactively plan customer account activities and objectives through CRM
  • KPIs at weekly and monthly intervals or as directed by the Area Sales Manager
  • Work closely with all supporting departments including Sales & Service Support, Warehouse & Distribution, and Finance departments to achieve the company's objectives
  • Other tasks or duties as assigned by Line Manager

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma with at least 1 - 2 years working experience. Mechanical Engineering background would be an advantage
  • Personal attributes: Commitment, problem solver, high energy, positive thinker and self-driven
  • Demonstrate customer service skills and appropriate business presentation
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and positive work attitude
  • Willing to travel for business trip (if needed)
