About the Role

At Galatek Singapore, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Professional who is passionate about semiconductor technology and customer success. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives to strengthen Galatek's market presence.

This position combines strategic sales responsibilities with hands-on marketing support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both customer engagement and brand-building activities.

Job Summary

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in wafer fab and assembly/test segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including end users, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation, technical discussions, quotation, negotiation, to closing.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical, service, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer technology roadmaps.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and account development plans.
  • Represent Galatek at trade shows, technical seminars, and industry networking events.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials such as product brochures, technical slides, and digital content.
  • Coordinate customer demo tests, sample evaluations.
  • Collect and document customer success stories, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Support online and offline brand promotion activities (e.g., LinkedIn updates, newsletters, etc.).

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, or related field).
  • Minimum 38 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or process-related sales.
  • Strong understanding of wafer fab and/or back-end assembly processes.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical value into business benefits.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing strategic accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for working with clients and vendors in the region).
  • Willing to travel regionally as required.
