Your new company

A reputable precision engineering company known for supporting advanced semiconductor production needs, seeking a proactive and technically inclined Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for customers. This role is responsible for providing tailored solutions, supporting the end‑to‑end sales cycle, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving revenue and gross profit targets. You will also gather market intelligence to strengthen product offerings and sales strategies.

Your new role

1. Technical Expertise Development

  • Develop strong understanding of in‑house manufacturing processes, product features, materials, and applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for product specifications, applications, and solution discussions.
  • Ensure timely responses, proactive follow-ups, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving complex issues by liaising with internal teams and escalating when necessary.

3. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Support and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and analyze competitor offerings.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.

4. Product Presentations & Solution Support

  • Conduct product presentations and customer meetings to showcase solutions.
  • Customize presentations based on customer needs and industry applications.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide customer feedback and support product improvements.

5. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on market trends, customer insights, and sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, gaps, and improvement areas.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Additional certifications in sales or technical domains are an advantage.
  • Experience or familiarity with semiconductor or precision manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Field Application Engineer, or Technical Sales Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience in the full sales cycle, including customer engagement, technical proposals, and pricing/contract discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
