The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts in
Singapore and Malaysia. The role requires basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and close
coordination with internal engineering and production teams. Ability to develop new business opportunities
will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
. Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers in Singapore and Malaysia
. Act as the main point of contact for technical and commercial matters
. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and support
. Drive repeat orders and long-term partnerships
Technical & Commercial Support
. Understand and review mechanical drawings and customer specifications
. Coordinate with engineering and production teams on feasibility, costing, and delivery
. Prepare quotations, proposals, and basic cost analysis
. Support customers during new part introduction and production stages
Sales Development (Added Advantage)
. Identify opportunities to increase business with existing customers
. Support management in developing new customers and markets
. Participate in sales visits, discussions, and presentations when required
Internal Coordination & Reporting
. Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and customer requirements
. Handle customer feedback, issues, and basic technical clarifications
. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account updates
. Ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales or engineering within a precision manufacturing environment and
Semiconductor Industry.
. Basic ability to read and understand mechanical drawings (GD&T knowledge is an advantage)
. Experience dealing with customers in Singapore and/or Malaysia preferred
