Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a Proposal Engineer assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in Central - easily accessible.
Job Responsibilities of Proposal Engineer:
- Support the Aftermarket Sales team by preparing technical and commercial proposals for retrofit/refurbishment projects, spare parts, and service contracts.
- Work with service and technical teams to gather information, perform cost evaluations, and develop proposals including required documentation and drawings.
- Communicate with customers on technical and commercial matters and ensure orders comply with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to prepare quotations and provide aftersales support such as site services and spare part supply.
- Manage spare parts inventory (if applicable) and update installed base data in Salesforce CRM.
- Conduct initial prospect screening through data analysis, emails, and cold calls, and pass qualified leads to the Aftermarket Sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- 5 years after sales support experience in water treatment / oil & gas or marine projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD
