Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of technology, driving sales and cultivating relationships within the industrial sector focusing on gas analyzers. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team while expanding your impact across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead business development and sales efforts for gas analyzers in various sectors, including heavy industries (oil and gas, power plant...etc), and marine and shipping industries.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of two Application/Sales Engineers for instrumentation, offering technical guidance and performance coaching.
  3. Establish and nurture strong relationships with end users, contractors, system integrators, and consultants to enhance project opportunities.
  4. Engage hands-on in key account management, focusing on strategic clients and high-value projects.
  5. Develop and evaluate proposals, quotations, technical documents, and tender submissions to ensure competitiveness.
  6. Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform business growth and strategy development.
  7. Achieve sales targets for both individuals and the team to contribute towards overall market expansion efforts.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  9. Travel domestically and regionally (approximately 30-40% abroad in APAC countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Batam, Malaysia, and Australia) to support business development and customer relations.

Requirements

  1. Degree or diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation or related field).
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in gas analyzer sales , with new client acquisition.
  3. Familiarity with the heavy industry and/or marine/shipping industries is a strong advantage.
  4. Proven track record in business development and technical sales.
  5. Proven ability to analyze data and drive accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  6. Willingness and flexibility to travel 30-40% abroad as required by business needs.
