Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our company's machinery and products. This individual will combine their technical expertise with strong sales skills to pitch our offerings to potential customers effectively. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for visiting work sites and offices, following up with customers on orders, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services. This role requires a tech-savvy individual who can utilize apps and AI tools to enhance their performance and manage their responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

. Develop a deep understanding of the company's machinery and products to provide technical insights to customers.
. Pitch and demonstrate the company's offerings to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features that meet their needs.
. Visit work sites and offices to establish strong relationships with customers and address their requirements in person.
. Follow up on Sales orders to ensure timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
. Utilize technology, including apps and AI tools, to streamline sales processes, manage customer interactions, and track orders.
. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, and maintain timely and professional communication with customers.
. Handle customer feedback and concerns professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
. Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors offerings to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

. Proficiency in English, Additional language proficiency will be an advantage.
. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the machinery or industrial sector.
. Willingness to develop technical knowledge of machinery and industrial products.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to present and explain products confidently and persuasively to customers. . Proficient in using digital tools, applications, and AI technologies to enhance sales performance.
. Willingness to travel to work sites and customer offices as required.
. Possession of a valid driver's licence is preferred due to travel requirements for client visits.
. Abilityto remain composed and professional in stressful situations.
. Well-organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
. Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales.

Compensation
