Job Description

Our client is a Japanese construction company seeking a Sales Engineer to expand its construction project sales activities in Singapore and the region.

Reporting To: Managing Director / Director

【 Responsibilities 】
- Liaise and communicate with contractors, clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, tender documents and contracts based on project requirements.
- Monitor upcoming and ongoing projects for tender opportunities.
- Handle sales inquiries and build long-term business relationships with existing clients and contractors.
- Conduct commercial negotiation with clients for potential and ongoing projects.
- Follow up closely on projects process and completion to ensure delivery within schedule, budget, required quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with Technical and Operations teams to develop suitable technical solutions and project strategies for clients.
- Work collaboratively across all organizational levels to ensure projects are executed efficiently with appropriate resource utilization.

Requirement

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification
- Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N2) for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Singapore
- Ability to work flexible or extended hours when required
- Able to commit long working hours

(Advantageous)
- Experience in construction or civil engineering
- Preferable to have Built Environment education background (Diploma/ Degree)
