Sales Engineer (Industrial)

This role offers an opportunity for a technically grounded professional to blend engineering expertise with strategic market analysis, providing high-level support to international distributors and contributing to the group's long-term regional growth.
Roles and Responsibilities: The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to distributors and executing strategic sales efforts to expand the group's footprint in both existing and emerging markets.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Strategic Planning: Design and execute annual sales and marketing strategies for power products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Market Intelligence: Perform intensive market analysis to understand customer behaviors, competitive landscapes, and key drivers of regional growth.
- Distributor Support: Act as a key liaison for distributors, providing essential coordination for sales efforts, enquiry processing, and delivery schedules.
- Technical Presentation: Prepare and present technical briefings to convey the group's superior technical capabilities and customer service standards to top management and partners.
- Product Application: Provide expert advice on product application issues and coordinate with global manufacturing hubs to ensure seamless delivery and processing.
- Relationship Management: Develop and implement strategies to build on current customer relationships while identifying new market opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Review competitor activities and coordinate communication between regional distributors and internal departments to optimize delivery timelines.
Skills & Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience within the Industrial Engineering industry.
- Sector Expertise: Prior experience in selling Generator Power or Industrial Chillers is highly advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Able to manage complex technical proposals and work effectively within cross-functional groups.
- Competencies: A goal-oriented, strategic thinker with a long-term vision and the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Confident presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication, suitable for a professional global MNC environment.
