Sales Engineer (Electric Commercial Vehicles)

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Engineer to promote and sell Foton commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their operational needs and provide suitable vehicle and financing solutions.

This role is suitable for sales professionals who enjoy engaging with clients, developing new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships in the commercial vehicle industry. This role is a commission-driven sales position where income is largely performance-based.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Foton commercial vehicles to businesses and fleet operators

• Advise customers on vehicle configurations, upper structures, financing and insurance options

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

• Source for new sales leads and manage key accounts

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth vehicle delivery to customers

• Maintain accurate sales records and follow up with potential clients

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Diploma qualification in Business, Engineering or related field

• Minimum 1-2 years of outdoor / field sales experience, preferably in B2B industrial or automotive sectors

• Class 3 / 3A driving licence required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-driven, resourceful and motivated to achieve sales targets

• Interest in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry

• Bilingual in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking clients (Able to converse in dialect such as hokkien advantageous)

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: $2,000

• Transport Allowance: $600 (if using own vehicle)

• Commission: Approx. $2,700 per vehicle sold

• Uncapped earning potential (high gross salary)

• Annual Leave: 14 days

• Flexi Benefits: $800 per year

• Eligible for December Bonus (1 month)
