Liaise and maintain effective communication with contractors, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Identify and evaluate tender opportunities from both public and private sectors. Lead or coordinate the preparation of project proposals, quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents, ensuring submissions are compliant, competitive, and submitted within the required timeline.
Attend to sales inquiries and develop strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct technical presentations and provide engineered design solutions to clients. Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate, cost-effective solutions.
Perform commercial negotiations with clients for both potential and ongoing projects, including contract terms, pricing, and project scope to secure sales and maintain client satisfaction.
Coordinate closely with Technical, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop suitable technical solutions and project strategies.
Work collaboratively with internal teams across different departments to ensure projects are executed effectively with adequate resources and support.
Manage awarded projects with a focus on commercial and contractual matters.
Monitor and follow up closely on project progress from inception to completion to ensure delivery within the specified timeline, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Act as the key liaison between internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Prepare and present sales reports, tender status updates, and project progress reports to management.
Support business development initiatives and identify potential market opportunities to expand the company's client base.
Requirements:
Preferably Diploma or Degree in Built Environment,Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
Sales Engineer: Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in sales,tendering, or project management, preferably in the construction or engineeringindustry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectivelywith cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and project management skillswith the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and a fast-pacedenvironment.
Willing to travel to various project sites whenrequired
Able to commit to longerworking hours when necessary to meet project deadlines
