Role Summary
You will be responsible for sales of bearings and couplings spares, with ownership from enquiry to quotation, follow-up and order conversion. This includes supporting existing customers while actively developing new opportunities across shipyards, ship management companies, industrial customers and relevant end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries for bearings and couplings spares
- Prepare and issue quotations, including follow-up and negotiation
- Proactively canvass for new spares opportunities in the marine and industrial sectors
- Develop new leads through customer visits, market mapping and overseas travel around Southeast Asia
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and installed base
- Coordinate with principals and internal teams on technical clarifications
- Track enquiries, quotations and order status with proper follow-through
- Support business development activities, market feedback and sales planning
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in industrial, marine or mechanical products
- Exposure to bearings, couplings or rotating equipment is an advantage
- Comfortable with both hunting and follow-up
- Willing to travel around Southeast Asia for customer visits and market development
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership of follow-through
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products
