Purpose of role:

The Sales Effectiveness Analyst role at Blackmores Singapore is responsible for strengthening commercial performance by driving strategic initiatives and leveraging data-driven insights. The role focuses on optimizing pricing and promotions, enhancing distributor and sales force effectiveness, and providing market intelligence to support sustained growth and business success.

This role will be on 24 fixed term contracts.

Responsibilities include:

Data Analytic:

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify market trends, customer behaviour, and sales performance.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend strategies for market growth.
  • Regular reporting requirements such as daily sales report, inventory balance report and MBR and any other ad hoc requests
  • Budget and forecast data

Pricing and Promotions

  • Implement and maintain pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.

Distributor KPIs

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for distributor (ZP) and regularly evaluate their performance against these benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with distributors to ensure efficient supply chain management and product availability.

Sales Reps Coverage and Routing

  • Optimise the allocation of sales representatives to territories, ensuring maximum market coverage and customer engagement.
  • Develop efficient routing plans to minimize travel time and expenses while maximizing sales opportunities.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
  • Provide actionable market intelligence to support strategic decision-making (IQVIA, EuroMonitor, Retailer Scan Sales, PA Scan Sales etc)

Who are you

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing or Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years Proven experience in commercial excellence, data analytics, and sales strategy development within the healthcare or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Singapore market and regulatory environment is a plus.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets and KPIs.
  • Able to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to detail, operational excellence and ability to multi-task.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems
