We introduced the world's first Android-based smart POS terminal in 2014. Today, we provide integrated payment solutions comprising of smart POS terminals, a unified payment gateway supporting omnichannel payment, and cloud-based SaaS mobile applications to help sellers across 114+ countries manage payments and beyond.
We are currently looking for a Sales Director to help grow our business in Asia Pacific (AP) region. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and client retention. You act as a consultant by developing account strategies that provide the greatest opportunities to drive revenue in the AP region.
As this role is based in Singapore (International HQ), the ideal candidate must be comfortable with very frequent travels to the APAC regions to meet clients regularly and occasionally to China for strategic business meetings.
Responsibilities:
. Strategise and ensure the forecasted sales targets, revenue, profit margin, and payment collections are achieved.
. Grow and manage a team of sales managers and/or country managers to drive revenue in APAC regions.
. Develop new key clients, manage existing clients, and foster strong relationships to maximize solution sales and customer satisfaction.
. Attend exhibitions, and trade shows, organize localized marketing campaigns to create leads.
. Lead the engagement of existing and potential clients and stakeholders (owners, partners, banks, government bodies, etc.) to win new business, and grow existing customer accounts.
. Provide a continuous target improvement focus, sales cadence on pipeline creation, forecasting, and market expertise to the business.
. Ensure accurate and timely submission in CRM for quotation, sales forecast, delivery/backlog, inventory, collection, and expense reports.
. Collaborate with global sales and technical teams in the region or China to provide support for local clients.
. Comply with Wiseasy's policies and procedures to commit to honest and ethical business conduct.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Commerce, Business, or related field.
. At least 7 years of relevant working experience in sales and account management in a global company, preferably in the digital payments or mobile industry.
. At least 5 years of proven experience in managing a sales team to drive sales and increase revenue of the company.
. Experience in the payments and/or Point-of-Sales hardware and systems is a must.
. Open-minded, positive working attitude, able to multitask.
. Independent, proactive, and taking ownership and accountability for assignments.
. Able to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
. Experienced working cross-functionally in a global, culturally diverse team.
. Analytical, strong organizational skills, and strong commercial acumen.
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
. Proficient in both English and Mandarin, as this role would require you to coordinate with senior management based in China and outside of China.
. Basic proficiency in any other APAC/SEA spoken languages will be an added advantage.
. Travelling will be required to places not limited to China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia or New Zealand
