Sales Director – Public Services
Location – Singapore
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Director to scale TCS presence in the Public and Government Sector in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be an existing Director of Sales or senior Sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for innovation, and ability to work in fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for identifying and pursing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and negotiating and closing contracts with key Public Sector stakeholders and partners.

Profile
- 17 – 20+ years of total experience
- 12-15+ years of experience in business development, sales or account management in Public Sector and Government, or related spaces.
- A proven track record, with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying potential clients and partners in various industries, most notably in the Public Sector and Government space
- Generate leads through personal and professional network and research, preferably in the public sector
- Shaping and executing deal strategy to win long-tail business
- Following the TCS business development process
- Identification of small investment opportunities in prospects and clients to develop client specific solutions and offerings
- Utilising own network and cultivate new networks to influence buy decisions
- Relationship building with influencers, decision-makers and CXOs
- Achievement of strategic objectives every year – Goals-Targets-KPIs-Thresholds
Requirements for this Role:
- Extensive consultative sales experience, especially in Public Sector
- Management experience directing and motivating bid teams
- Experience in marketing to the buying organisations within target accounts
- Graduate with 17+ years of post qualification experience
- Experience working with offshore team(s) - delivery, solutions, practices and CoEs
- Ability to conduct customer workshops
- Art of probing and logically shaping any requirements
- Problem solving nature - a solution is not only an IT solution but also a model-cum-people solution. experience in all aspects are needed
Others:
- Overall understanding of the Information Technology Products & Services, and Technology Governance in an Outsourced Environment
- Experience working with techies located in international locations virtually
- Knowledge of Domain, Operations IT, IT Infrastructure, and Digital / Security products and services
