JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Planning
- Actively identify, locate, and acquire preferred clients to onboard and grow the franchise (market neutral)
- Perform end-to-end onboarding activities inclusive of account opening and promote a bank's suite of depository products and services
- Conduct KYC on Ntb clients in accordance to bank's AML guidelines and regulations
- Establish client's source of wealth and funds to match clients profile
- Provide timely and efficient processing on account opening and other onboarding related matters
- Ensure compliance and legal guidelines are adhered to with all internal policies and external regulations
- Engage client to conduct wealth conversation appt with rm as part of the holistic onboarding journey
- Understand client's financial objective, tolerance for risk and able to articulate to rm/specialists for further follow up
- Be knowledgeable about landscape of bank's product suite and facilitate transmission of information to clients
Business Performance and Management
- Accurately record and process clients instructions
- Ensure no occurrence of error, operational problems
- Promptly and properly document any issues that occur
- Good understanding on acquisition product offering across industry and able to do competitive analysis
- General understanding on wealth offering and product suites across the industry
People Management
- Main point of contact for clients during onboarding stage, and duty will include client servicing, attending to transactional matters
- Ability to handle clients KYC reviews and CDD requirements
- Build and maintain long term relationship with partners is a key factor for success in this role
Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements
- Attend all trainings
Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- Relevant accreditations (M1b, M5, M6, M8, M8a, M9, M9a, HI) would be an advantage
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 3 years relevant experience in banking/financial industry, experiences in financial and investment product sales is preferred
- Track record of excellence, self-motivated, and results driven
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, to engage customer of all levels with assertiveness
- Effectively bi-lingual; ability to converse in foreign languages would be an advantage
- Ability to travel to regional countries for business trips when required
Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
