Job Description

A well-established international electronics component manufacturer with a growing presence in Asia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead its regional commercial strategy and drive business growth across Southeast Asia.

This leadership role will focus on expanding market share, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and managing regional sales operations within the electronics and semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue across Southeast Asia markets.

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, EMS companies, and electronics manufacturers.

  • Strengthen long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic partners in the electronics supply chain.

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver technical solutions to customers.

  • Drive market expansion initiatives, including new channels, distributors, and strategic partnerships.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the electronics components industry.

  • Collaborate with global headquarters on sales planning, forecasting, and regional growth strategies.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and key customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 10-15 years of sales experience within the electronics components, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing industry.

  • Proven track record managing regional sales or key accounts across Southeast Asia.

  • Strong network with OEMs, EMS providers, or electronics manufacturers.

  • Leadership experience managing sales teams or regional business units.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive strategic business growth.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to travel within the region when required.

Preferred Experience

  • Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an advantage:
  • Passive electronic components (inductors, capacitors, RF components, sensors, etc.)
  • Semiconductor or electronic components distribution
  • Automotive electronics, IoT, telecommunications, or industrial electronics markets
  • Managing regional distributors and channel partners
