Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will identify and develop new customer opportunities across APAC by building sales pipelines, generating qualified leads, and supporting Sales Account Managers with high-quality meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business leads using CRM tools, databases, and market research to expand customer base across APAC
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn to engage potential customers
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by qualifying leads based on urgency and business needs to maximize revenue impact
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges and apply lead qualification criteria before passing leads to Sales Account Managers
  • Maintain high standards for lead quality to improve conversion rates and sales effectiveness
  • Utilize internal market data, trends, and insights to identify and qualify sales opportunities supporting consistent revenue pipeline development
  • Accurately record all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM systems ensuring data integrity and proper segmentation
  • Track and manage pipeline progress to maintain consistent lead flow and support sales forecasting
  • Map target accounts and identify key stakeholders such as buyers, procurement, and sourcing teams to strategically penetrate multinational corporations
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of new and existing customer contacts, continuously expanding and refining target customer lists within APAC
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Development Manager and Sales teams to refine outreach strategies based on market feedback and sales performance
  • Provide feedback on market responses, objections, and opportunities to improve sales approaches
  • Participate actively in training and coaching sessions to enhance sales skills and professional development

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles fresh graduates are welcome
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is an advantage
  • Strong interest in sales, lead generation, and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and outbound outreach
  • Proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural APAC environment
