Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial connector between the client and prospective customers, identifying qualified leads and nurturing early-stage relationships.
  • Apply a solution-oriented approach to conversations, taking time to understand each prospect's business landscape before recommending next steps.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline generation goals through proactive outreach and timely follow-up on inbound interest.
  • Conduct deep research into target accounts, pinpoint key stakeholders, and spark interest through personalized engagement.
  • Guide prospects through the early stages of the sales journey, qualifying leads and preparing them for handoff to Account Executives and Solution Consultants.
  • Facilitate introductory meetings and ensure smooth transitions to the broader sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to refine lead qualification and drive pipeline growth.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales engagement platforms to support seamless team coordination.
  • Partner with marketing to execute campaigns and follow up on generated leads.
  • Launch outbound initiatives to ensure balanced lead flow across assigned territories.
  • Share insights and feedback with the broader BDR team to help refine outreach strategies and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 13 years in sales, business development, or SaaS-related roles.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads and building relationships in enterprise software or tech sales.
  • Skilled in both inbound and outbound engagement, with the ability to connect across various levels of an organization.
  • Familiarity with the full BDR workflowfrom account research and call prep to lead qualification and objection handling.
  • Highly motivated and independent, with a resilient mindset and a collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent communication skillsactive listening, clear writing, and confident speaking.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a tech-enabled environment with CRM proficiency.
  • Energetic and curious personality, eager to connect with prospects via phone, email, and social platforms.
  • Comfortable using productivity and sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office.
