Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator to support our Project & Operations teams in handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and coordinating with internal departments. You will serve as the key link between clients and teams, ensuring timely responses, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage customer enquiries, liaising with internal departments to provide prompt and accurate responses.
- Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and supporting documents to clients.
- Follow up on quotations, sales orders, and confirmations.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, proactively engaging to understand their needs and uncover new business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, technical submissions, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and assisting with contracts.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
- Support marketing or business development initiatives as required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in oil & gas, marine, mechanical engineering, or industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with RFQs, tender submissions, and technical documentation is an advantage.
- Confident, proactive and comfortable engaging with new clients.
- Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to attend site visits when required.
- Possess a Class 3 driving license.
