The Opportunity

Our client is a private equity firm specializing in multi-asset investment strategies and institutional-grade portfolio construction. Established in Australia, the firm is now headquartered in Singapore and has expanded its geographic presence globally. It serves institutional investors and family offices seeking diversified exposure across traditional and emerging asset classes.

The firm's investment approach integrates systematic research, disciplined execution, and comprehensive risk management frameworks. It offers a suite of fund solutions spanning equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, private capital, and digital assets, including specific offerings such as the Protected Yield Fund (fixed income) and FX Diversification Fund. These solutions are all structured to deliver risk-adjusted returns across diverse market cycles. The firm continuously refines its quantitative methodologies to address the evolving requirements of its institutional client base and maintains a steadfast focus on transparency, regulatory compliance, and performance-driven outcomes. They are currently seeking multiple/entire teams (Junior/Senior/Lead/Head)Sales/Business Development – Fixed Income Products in both Singapore AND Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, private banks, family offices, and HNW/UHNW clients to drive asset gathering and growth in AUM through proactive engagement and structured follow-up.
  • Manage a trackable sales pipeline, providing regular updates on conversion metrics, client feedback, and market intelligence to support informed decision-making.
  • Articulate fund structures, return drivers, key risks, liquidity terms, and fee arrangements to facilitate investor understanding and informed participation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and refine investor materials, including pitch decks, due diligence questionnaires, and term sheets, and coordinate roadshows, conferences, and online events across Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • Monitor FX and interest rate markets, translating macroeconomic developments into investor-ready messaging, while gathering client feedback to inform product positioning, target segment refinement, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Masters qualification in Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant disciplines. Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA and/or relevant CMFA paper such as RES5 (formerly M5), CM-SIP (formerly M6) for Singapore applicants / SFC Type 1 registered (LE Paper 1, 7, 8) for Hong Kong applicants
  • Relevant experience in asset management distribution, private banking sales, or institutional coverage, with direct experience in fixed income, FX, or structured products
  • Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and sales documentation requirements under MAS/SFC/ASIC.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing AUM of at least $3 million
  • Deep understanding of fixed income markets, FX instruments, and income/yield- enhancement strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to originate client relationships and convert opportunities into funded allocations.
  • Existing institutional or HNW/UHNW client network Singapore, Hong Kong, or Australia is highly desirable.
  • Mandarin language ability is preferred to manage non-English speaking clients
