Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to drive our growth within the Machine Tool & Automation Industry in Singapore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to develop their sales career in a dynamic and technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels (networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital platforms).
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company's target market and strategic objectives.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and challenges to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

3. Sales Planning & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.

4. Solution Development & Proposal Management:

  • Collaborate with technical and application to design customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.

5. Negotiation & Closing:

  • Lead contract negotiations, addressing client concerns and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Drive the closing of deals, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to product / project delivery.

6. Account Management & Growth:

  • Manage existing accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term business growth.

7. Sales Reporting & CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the machine tool, automation, or manufacturing sectors.
  3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
