Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Singapore for a Sales Associate. The Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored financial solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, preparing sales reports, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business revenue.
  • Prepare necessary marketing materials as required in the execution of sales strategies.
  • Conduct basic KYC (know-your-client) and necessary documentation procedures for preliminary onboarding.
  • Address and resolve client enquiries through close collaboration with internal teams.
  • Able to understand client needs and market trends to identify new cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work with marketing team to maintain and enhance corporate brand and outreach.
  • Participate in relevant cross-department discussions to streamline internal processes.
  • Other relevant duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
  • Up to 3 years experience in sales or front-office roles dealing with corporate/institutional or professional individual clients. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interest and solid understanding of financial markets and instruments, including derivatives (futures & options), FX, and trading platforms
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word and financial market tools (i.e. Bloomberg).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, capital markets products, and trading platforms
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, data analytics and preparing sales reports
  • Experience in managing client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills and market research capability
