Job Summary

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Identify and qualify new customer accounts to expand the client base and generate revenue growth
  • Manage, service, and grow existing client relationships through targeted cold-calling, customer visits, and persuasive sales presentations
  • Lead complex negotiations with senior-level executives to secure profitable deals and long-term partnerships
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers to establish trust and foster enduring business relationships

Required competencies and certifications

  • Demonstrate 2-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Possess working knowledge and experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and customer data
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage clients and internal teams
  • Maintain a high level of independence and motivation to consistently achieve sales objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent
