Job Summary
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans
- Identify and qualify new customer accounts to expand the client base and generate revenue growth
- Manage, service, and grow existing client relationships through targeted cold-calling, customer visits, and persuasive sales presentations
- Lead complex negotiations with senior-level executives to secure profitable deals and long-term partnerships
- Build and maintain rapport with customers to establish trust and foster enduring business relationships
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate 2-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Possess working knowledge and experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and customer data
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage clients and internal teams
- Maintain a high level of independence and motivation to consistently achieve sales objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent
