Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Purchase Manager to oversee our end-to-end wine portfolio operations. You will be responsible for sourcing premium wines from global and local producers while simultaneously driving sales growth through B2B and retail channels. The ideal candidate has a good nose for market trends and a sharp eye for profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Portfolio Management
Sourcing & Selection:
Curate a competitive wine portfolio by identifying new wineries and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiation:
Manage procurement costs, shipping terms, and exclusivity agreements to ensure healthy margins.
Sales & Business Development Channel Growth:
Identify and secure new business opportunities in the On-trade (restaurants, hotels) and Off-trade (retail, private collectors) sectors.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute promotional campaigns and seasonal sales targets.
Client Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing expert product knowledge and tastings.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years in the wine and spirits industry, specifically in a dual sales/procurement role.
Market Knowledge:
Strong understanding of global wine regions, varietals, and current consumer trends.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional negotiation skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently.
