Job Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Implement FIFO practices to ensure proper product rotation and conduct regular checks on near-expiry stocks to minimise returns.
Achieve the sales targets established by the company.
Monitor and recommend optimal stock holding levels for retailers to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Demonstrate understanding of basic selling procedures.
Manage the payment process in full compliance with the company's payment policies.
Follow the assigned daily itinerary and ensure all scheduled outlets are serviced.
Deliver professional and high-quality sales and after-sales services.
Communicate trade activities, promotions, and mechanics clearly to retailers.
Provide timely feedback on sales and operational issues, competitor promotions/pricing, and market sentiments.
Key Requirements
GCE N Level Certificate or equivalent.
Having at least 1 year of experience in General Trade (e.g., mini marts, provision shops) or Modern Trade (e.g., supermarkets, convenience stores) is advantageous
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Able to work independently with a positive attitude.
Advantageous to possess a personal bike and a Class 1 driving licence (Candidates without a bike will be considered for the Sales Merchandiser position).
