Job Description
- Achieve sales targets set by the company.
- Visit both new and existing customers to promote and secure business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Department to ensure timely preparation and delivery of quotations.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations when required.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
- Monitor market trends and competitors activities closely.
- Submit weekly sales reports and monthly sales plans to the Managing Director.
- Attend customer meetings after office hours when necessary.
- Maintain a strong customer focus by proactively addressing and resolving customer issues or concerns.
- Any other duties assigned by the Management, your superior or any of his duly authorized officers as and when necessary.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Marine / Oil & Gas industry. Experience working with ship owners, ship superintendents or ship management companies is highly advantageous.
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
- Curious and analytical mindset with the ability to understand products and services thoroughly.
- Team player with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proven track record in sales account management and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
- Willing to travel overseas on short notice.
