General Manager / Director
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to increase revenue, strengthen brand awareness, attract new customers, and build long-term customer loyalty. The role oversees both traditional and digital marketing activities while identifying business opportunities, managing promotional campaigns, and enhancing the cafés online and offline presence.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Identify and secure corporate clients, event bookings, private functions, catering opportunities, and group reservations.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, schools, community organizations, and nearby businesses.
Generate new business through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and promotional packages.
Monitor competitors and recommend strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase customer traffic and sales.
Strengthen and maintain The Bark Cafe's brand identity across all marketing channels.
Organize seasonal promotions, festive campaigns, product launches, and special events.
Coordinate marketing materials including brochures, banners, menus, and promotional collateral.
Ensure consistent branding throughout all customer touchpoints.
Manage the cafés social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
Develop engaging content such as photos, videos, reels, stories, and promotional posts.
Create and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
Plan and manage paid digital advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize advertising budgets to maximize return on investment (ROI).
Coordinate influencer collaborations and user-generated content campaigns.
Manage online reputation by responding to customer reviews and inquiries professionally.
Update website content, online menus, and promotional information where applicable.
Improve search engine visibility through basic SEO practices and Google Business Profile optimization.
Monitor website and social media analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
Develop customer loyalty and membership programmes.
Manage email marketing campaigns and promotional newsletters.
Gather customer feedback and recommend service improvements.
Implement customer retention strategies to encourage repeat visits.
Maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication and personalized marketing initiatives.
Plan and coordinate in-house events, themed nights, live entertainment, pet-friendly activities, and community engagement programmes.
Work closely with operations to ensure successful execution of promotions and events.
Develop sponsorship and partnership opportunities with complementary businesses.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer preferences.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and marketing activities.
Analyse sales performance and marketing campaign results.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer acquisition, marketing ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
Negotiate with advertising agencies, suppliers, and media partners.
Ensure marketing expenditures remain within approved budgets.
Maintain proper records of campaigns, contracts, and marketing assets.
Work closely with the Operations, Kitchen, and Front-of-House teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, content creators, and external marketing agencies when required.
Provide marketing support and training to staff participating in promotional activities.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, SEO, SEM, and paid advertising.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, and content creation tools is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
