Role Overview
This is a hands-on startup role where you'll learn by doing and gain exposure to both marketing and sales. You'll work across content creation, social media, campaigns, events, market research, and sales materials, while seeing how marketing works closely with sales, product, and technology teams in a real business environment. We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, proactive, and thoughtful, with a good eye for detail. Someone who takes initiative brings good ideas to the table, and is committed to doing their best work.
What you'll do
Marketing
- Brainstorm content ideas and support the development of social media campaigns, activations, and creative concepts for RoboAct and its products
- Create static posters, social media carousels, and short-form videos/reels, including assisting with planning, filming, and production
- Write and refine marketing copy, including captions, EDMs, promotional materials, and other communications
- Assist with webinar and event preparation, including content preparation, logistics, coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Research competitors, products, marketing strategies, campaigns, and social media activities to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
- Research relevant influencers, content creators, and potential partners, and assist with outreach and coordination for collaborations
Sales
- Assist with product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and sales activities for RoboAct and its products
- Research industries, companies, and potential prospects, and organise relevant market and customer insights to support sales opportunities and outreach
- Assist with preparing sales presentations, pitch decks, company profiles, product decks, and other materials for customer and partner meetings
- Assist with drafting and refining outreach materials such as WhatsApp messages, EDMs, follow-ups, and other prospect communications
- Gain hands-on exposure to customer conversations, sales outreach, and the sales process
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field
- Open to students, fresh graduates, or early-career candidates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, energetic, and willing to take initiative
- Responsible, hardworking, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Microsoft tools, or AI tools
- Basic photography, videography, or short-form video editing skills
- Some experience or exposure to sales or customer outreach
- Exposure to events, PR, influencer marketing, or partnerships
- Interest in AI, automation, startups, or technology
