Key Duties and Responsibilities
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years in education sales/marketing, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Fluency in English + 1 regional language (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi or Vietnamese).
- Proven success in managing master agent networks.
Strong Operational Oversight
Team Leadership:
- Able to work well with different teams ( Academic, marketing, admissions, Student Support) to ensure alignment with enrolment goals.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to Singapore's EDUTRUST compliance and to the UK university partners accreditation standards.
Branding & Marketing
- Drive market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, student preferences, and new opportunities for growth.
- Oversee website operations, styling, information updates, and maintenance.
- Strategize, plan, and execute digital and offline marketing campaigns to attract prospective students across key markets.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials and social media posts to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Drive events such as open houses, information sessions, and webinars to promote GSTM's programmes.
- Evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
Business Development
- Lead partnership discussions, including sales pitches and collaboration talks.
- Identify new academic or commercial opportunities and potential markets for expansion, spearheading strategic negotiations and partnership talks with industry partners, recruitment / sales agents, and partner universities.
Student Recruitment
- Manage consultations with prospective students to provide accurate information about programmes, admissions, and career pathways.
- Oversee end-to-end student recruitment activities including lead follow-up, application processing, and enrolment conversion tracking, ensuring that monthly and annual goals are met.
- Ensure that all marketing and recruitment messages align with regulations and institutional policies.
Document Management
- Maintain and update departmental documents, ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, correct version control, and timely uploading into the central document management system
Sales & Enrolment
- Achieve 5% annual sales revenue growth and 5% annual student enrolment growth through new and existing programmes.
- Improve enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rates by 5% year-on-year.
- Maintain 90%+ offer-to-enrolment conversion for confirmed offers.
- Establish or renew at least 2 new external university partnerships annually.
Marketing & Events
- Deliver at least 5 major international marketing campaigns annually in key target regions.
- Organize a minimum of 6 student recruitment events per year (education fairs, info sessions, webinars).
- Ensure all marketing campaigns achieve an ROI of 120% or higher, measured by leads converted to enrolments.
- Increase qualified enquiry leads by 15% year-on-year through digital platforms and campaigns.
- Ensure 100% lead follow-up within 3 working days across all enquiry channels.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain 95%+ CRM accuracy for student and agent records.
- Submit monthly student recruitment and marketing reports to the Deputy CEO within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure 100% compliance with EduTrust, ERF, and institutional policies in all recruitment and marketing activities.
- Achieve 100% compliance with document governance and digital system standards, including version control, data confidentiality, access rights, and timely system updates.
