Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Events Executive to support client engagement and sponsorship coordination, alongside end-to-end event delivery across our portfolio of B2B conferences, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
This role supports both sales and sponsorship development as well as event coordination and delivery, working closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships while also being actively involved in the practical execution of high-quality industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify prospect, and engage potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners across MediaComz's event portfolio.
Manage inbound and outbound sales outreach, including follow-ups, proposals, and sponsorship discussions.
Support contract preparation, invoicing coordination, and sponsorship confirmations.
Maintain and update CRM and sales trackers, ensuring accurate records of leads and client interactions.
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat participation and upselling.
Represent MediaComz at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings.
Event Planning & Execution
Support the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (venues, AV, catering, branding, logistics).
Assist in managing event timelines, run-of-show documents, and on-site logistics.
Liaise with sponsors and exhibitors to ensure all agreed deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Provide on-site event support, including registration, sponsor management, speaker coordination, and troubleshooting.
Marketing & Communications Support
Assist in the preparation of marketing and sales collateral, including sponsorship decks, brochres, EDMs, and
social media content.
Coordinate with designers and content teams on timelines and deliverables.
Support post-event communications such as thank-you notes, surveys, testimonials, and reports.
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with general administrative tasks, including documentation, filing, and scheduling.
Track payment milestones and follow up on outstanding invoices in coordination with finance.
Support reporting on sales performance, sponsorship uptake, and event outcomes.
Handle ad-hoc tasks related to event operations and business development as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or related fields.
1-3 years experience in B2B sales, sponsorship, events, or project coordination (experience in media, maritime,
energy, or industrial sectors is an advantage).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills comfortable speaking with clients and stakeholders.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Willingness to support events outside normal office hours when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CRM experience is a plus.
