Job Summary

Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability in Vietnam's automotive market. Lead sales operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize supply chain and financial performance while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Vietnam automotive market strategy aligned with regional and global objectives to capture growth opportunities across OEMs, distributors, dealers, and aftermarket segments
  • Analyze competitor activities, pricing trends, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions and drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion
  • Lead sales operations across OEM and aftermarket channels by building and maintaining strong relationships with key automotive partners, dealers, and fleet customers
  • Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and long-term contracts to secure favorable terms and support business objectives
  • Monitor sales performance through forecasting and pipeline management to ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Ensure full compliance with Vietnam import/export regulations, customs procedures, tariffs, and automotive-related trade laws by liaising with customs authorities, logistics providers, and regulatory agencies
  • Monitor changes in trade policies and advise headquarters on regulatory risks and their potential impact on business operations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Vietnam's regulations, taxation policies, and industry standards to ensure all operations comply with local commercial laws and corporate governance requirements
  • Support contract review and risk mitigation efforts from a local legal perspective to safeguard company interests
  • Manage local distributors and dealership networks by overseeing demand planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Assist to prepare Vietnam P&L performance by preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and business performance reports to ensure margin control, pricing discipline, and cost optimization
  • Assist in developing the Vietnam team and act as the key liaison between Vietnam operations and regional/global headquarters to provide strategic market insights and business recommendations
  • Communicate fluently in spoken and written Vietnamese to effectively manage local operations and stakeholders
  • Apply strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills to influence outcomes and build consensus across diverse groups
