Role Summary
Whitestone Gallery Singapore is seeking a Sales Advisor to support artwork sales and client development. This role focuses on day-to-day operation and sales, client engagement, and exhibition support, with opportunities to grow into a full Sales Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in selling artworks to walk-in and existing clients
2. Present artworks clearly and confidently
3. Support closing of sales and basic negotiations
4. Client Engagement
5. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
6. Follow up on enquiries and maintain client database
7. Support private viewings and gallery tours
8. Exhibitions and Events
9. Assist during exhibition openings and events
10. Support art fairs and external activations when required
11. Ensure gallery space is well-presented and managed
12. Artwork Knowledge
13. Develop knowledge of gallery artists and inventory
14. Assist in preparing sales materials (PDFs, emails)
Requirements
0-4 years of experience (gallery, luxury retail, hospitality, or sales)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in art prior knowledge is not required
Responsible, presentable, and willing to learn
Comfortable working weekends and events
Preferred:
Experience with high-end clients
Salary and Benefits:
Base salary: SGD 2,800 - 4,200 per month (depending on experience)
Commission from sales
Exposure to international artists and art fairs
