Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a Sales Account Specialist to join our client's operation!
This is an exciting opportunity for an professional who enjoys combining technical knowledge, customer engagement and business development. For the right candidate, there is strong potential to grow into a role managing a major territory and sales team.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Act as a key point of contact throughout the pre-sales and post-sales journey.
- Work closely with the team to understand customer requirements and propose the right solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and support solution discussions with customers.
- Manage sales opportunities, pipelines and customer follow-ups through to successful closure.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback and industry trends to support business development and product positioning.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in technical sales, application engineering, business development or engineering solutions is an advantage.
- Experience with CAD/CAM/CAE or engineering software is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially driven, highly independent and proactive.
- Comfortable engaging with customers and developing new business opportunities.
- Able to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
