Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager will drive growth by identifying sales opportunities, managing end-to-end sales cycles, and collaborating with management to maximize revenue in IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business research to generate leads and convert prospects into clients
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans aligned with organizational revenue goals.
  • Lead all phases of the sales cycle including pre-sales presentations, client negotiations, and contract finalization.
  • Use multiple communication channels such as email, phone, and social media to engage analytics decision makers and generate interest
  • Maintain and update detailed Account Plans for each client to track progress and opportunities
  • Prepare high-quality business proposals, elevator pitches, and presentations to support the sales process
  • Manage all global accounts to ensure client satisfaction and business growth
  • Identify and scope value-creation opportunities within assigned accounts to increase sales.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (required)
  • Additional degree in Marketing (advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account management and consultative selling in IT outsourcing services
  • Proven track record in B2B/enterprise sales, including hunting, developing, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Proactive, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Resilient with a strong hunting mentality to overcome rejection
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in English to effectively communicate with global clients
