(Salaried) Investment Management Associate

As an Investment Management Associate, you will be trained to design, analyse, and optimise investment portfolios using structured risk assessment and suitability frameworks. Beyond technical investment skills, you will also be placed on a progressive development pathway that provides early exposure to leadership and team management, preparing you to step into senior advisory or management responsibilities within 3–5 years based on performance.

This is a salaried position with defined KPIs, designed to provide you with income stability while you build your technical and management capabilities.

What You Will Learn & Do

Construct & Optimise Investment Portfolios

• Create diversified investment portfolios based on client goals and risk appetite
• Apply asset allocation principles across equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes
• Identify inefficiencies, concentration risks, and gaps in existing portfolios
• Align portfolio recommendations with risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and time horizon

Provide Investment Solutions & Reviews

• Present tailored investment proposals with rationale and data support
• Support periodic portfolio reviews as market conditions evolve
• Help clients understand performance drivers and risk exposures
• Assist in repositioning portfolios when circumstances change

Early Leadership Development

• Learn coaching and communication frameworks used by senior managers
• Assist in guiding junior associates or supporting mini-projects
• Develop skills in meeting facilitation, influence, and strategic thinking
• Gradually take on leadership responsibilities as you grow
