Safety Technician - EHS

Responsibilities:

• Respond to unplanned emergency incidents including medical, chemical, and fire situations.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments in accordance with EHS standards.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze, and report on environmental and safety data.
• Assist in developing and delivering EHS training programs.
• Monitor waste management processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee proper use, handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Conduct emergency response drills and support incident investigations.
• Maintain detailed records of EHS incidents and prepare statistical reports.
• Manage storage areas, consumable inventory, and PPE supplies.
• Support calibration and maintenance of safety monitoring equipment.
• Review new materials/equipment for safety compliance.
• Oversee traffic and dock area safety operations.

The Talent:

• Diploma holder
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
• Knowledge of EHS programs and systems preferred
• Prior experience in semiconductor processes is advantageous
• Able to respond effectively to emergencies (medical/chemical/fire)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented, safety-driven, and able to follow established procedures
• Familiarity with safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification
• Comfortable with data reporting, documentation, and record-keeping
