Oversee and ensure all site activities comply with workplace safety and health regulations, especially under Ministry of Manpower Singapore (MOM) guidelines.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and risk assessments.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Ensure all workers follow safe work procedures and use proper PPE at all times.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions for workers.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses prepare reports and recommend improvements.
Maintain proper safety documentation, permits, and records.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters.
Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Council Singapore (WSH Council) standards and best practices.
Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, and confined space works.
Job Requirements
Must possess a valid Construction Safety Supervisor (CSS) certificate recognized in Singapore.
Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Supervisor.
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction safety.
Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and risk management procedures.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to enforce safety rules firmly on site.
Familiar with safety documentation and reporting processes.
Preferably able to communicate in English (knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is a plus for worker communication).
