Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites-including tools, equipment, and work processes-to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions promptly
- Perform risk assessments and lead incident/near-miss investigations. Prepare clear, actionable reports to prevent recurrence.
- Design, implement, and review safety policies, procedures, and behavioral safety initiatives aligned with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulation
- Deliver safety training and regular toolbox briefings to site personnel ensure awareness of safe work methods and protocols
- Maintain comprehensive safety records-including inspections, risk assessments, and incident logs-ensuring compliance with WSH Act and subsidiary regulations
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and MOM inspectors to promote continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards .
- Ensure all Earth Control Measures (ECMs) are implemented in accordance with PUB and NEA regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor the effectiveness of ECMs and promptly identify and report any non-compliance or areas of concern.
Job Requirements:
- Certifications: Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and a registered ECO (SCS) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- ECMO Registration: Preferred 2 years valid registration as an ECMO with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) at the time of application.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in high-rise building construction projects.
- Experience in Hospital related projects will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental compliance standards applicable to construction worksites.
- Good communication and observation skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
