Job description:
- Partner with the Safety Manager to oversee safety, health, and environmental initiatives, ensuring full compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Implement and monitor robust safety measures, driving a culture of accountability and vigilance on-site.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on safety goals and deliverables.
- Participate in daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, document observations, and ensure timely rectification of issues.
- Identify training and certification needs to meet legislative requirements and HSE guidelines.
- Gain deep insights into work-specific risks and control measures, proactively mitigating hazards.
- Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive actions.
- Oversee multiple sites simultaneously, ensuring consistent safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years working with a developer or main contractor (preferred).
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower, with at least 5 years of active practice.
- Proven experience developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan, such as bizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to pass internal security checks mandated by the Singapore Government.
- Valid Class 3 Driving License.
