Responsibilities
- Monitor safety and health aspects across all project sites and ensure safe work practices.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with safe work procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Perform risk assessments for all projects and maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
- Conduct safety orientations and daily toolbox meetings for site personnel.
- Plan, administer, and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations.
- Lead internal audits for OHSAS 18001 and Bizsafe Star renewal or surveillance.
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related statutory regulations.
- Identify unsafe conditions or practices and implement feasible corrective actions.
- Inspect delivered project materials to ensure quality and arrange testing when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Construction, or related fields / Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B).
- Valid registration with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the engineering or construction industry.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety inspections and relevant regulations.
