Safety Officer cum Environmental Control Officer (Construction)

Responsibilities

. Workplace Safety Management

. Implement and enforce Workplace Safety andHealth (WSH) policies and procedures on site.

. Conduct site safety inspections, riskassessments, and hazard identification.

. Ensure workers follow safe work procedures andproper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

. Investigate accidents, incidents, and nearmisses, and recommend corrective actions

. Environmental Control & Compliance

. Monitor environmental impact of constructionactivities including noise, dust, vibration, and waste management.

. Ensure site activities comply with environmentalregulations from the National Environment Agency.

. Implement environmental control measures such asdust suppression, proper waste disposal, and pollution prevention.

. Regulatory Compliance

. Ensure compliance with workplace safetyregulations from the
Ministry of Manpower and the Building and Construction Authority.

. Prepare and maintain required safety andenvironmental documentation.

. Support safety audits, inspections, andauthority visits

. Training & Safety Awareness

. Conduct toolbox meetings (TBM) and safetybriefings for workers and subcontractors.

. Provide training on risk assessments, methodstatements, and emergency procedures.

. Promote safety culture and environmentalawareness on site.

Requirements

. Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer(WSHO) in Singapore.

. Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO).

. Diploma or Degree in Safety, EnvironmentalManagement, Engineering, or Construction Management.

. 3-8 years of safety management experience inconstruction projects.
