Job Summary
You will lead safety incident responses and investigations, analyze causal factors, and support safety and quality initiatives to uphold workplace safety standards and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to safety incidents and workplace safety and health (WSH) accidents to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct thorough investigations of safety incidents to identify root causes and contributing factors
- Follow up with relevant units to implement investigation recommendations and ensure closure
- Analyze investigation findings and provide regular, clear updates to management for informed decision-making
- Review safety investigation documents and policies regularly to maintain compliance and relevance
- Serve as secretariat for major incident investigations, coordinating communication and documentation
- Prepare presentation materials for safety and quality meetings to support effective information sharing
- Support the development and delivery of safety and quality education programs within NSM to promote awareness
- Assist the Head of Department in executing the Safety, Quality, and Training Management (SQTM) Office objectives and work plan
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the reporting officer to support department goals
