We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ESH professional to support the ESH Manager in maintaining workplace safety, regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, specifications, services and deliveries.
Collect and analyze ESH data and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct workplace inspections, safety training, risk assessments and staff safety inductions.
Promote safety awareness and share lessons learned from incidents.
Support ESH audits, legal compliance and regulatory documentation.
Manage contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures, PTW and 5S requirements.
Review SOPs and processes and recommend improvements to enhance workplace and process safety.
Support LOTO and safe shutdown procedures.
Assist with emergency preparedness, drills and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) updates.
Check emergency equipment and coordinate with relevant departments and authorities when required.
Handle other ESH and workplace-related projects or ad-hoc duties.
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
At least 1 year of relevant experience no experience in Chemical Engineering are welcome.
Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) is preferred.
Relevant WSQ/WSH certifications will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Singapore EHS regulations, ISO standards and management systems.
Understanding of Process Safety and MHI requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and data analysis.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
Interested in developing knowledge and experience in Process Safety.
